By using the Service, you accept these Terms without reservation. If you do not accept these conditions, please do not use the Service.

2. Service description

Filzy is an online file processing tool offering:

• Image compression (JPG, PNG, WebP)
• Image format conversion (HEIC, AVIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG…)
• PDF tools (merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, page numbering…)
• EXIF metadata removal
• Image to PDF conversion

4. Access and registration

The Service is free to access. Some features (batch processing) require creating an account via:

• Email address with one-time verification code (OTP)
• Google OAuth authentication

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account and actions performed under it. You must be at least 15 years old to create an account, in accordance with French regulations.

5. Permitted use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or purposes contrary to these Terms
• Attempt to decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Service
• Disrupt or compromise the integrity or performance of the Service
• Circumvent security or authentication mechanisms
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service

6. Intellectual property

The source code, design, trademarks, logos, and all elements of the Service are the exclusive property of Filzy and are protected by intellectual property law.

Your files belong to you. The Service claims no ownership rights or licenses over the files you process, as they are never transmitted to our servers.

7. Liability

The Service is provided 'as is', without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Filzy does not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or available without interruption.

Since file processing is performed entirely in your browser, Filzy cannot be held liable for any data loss occurring during processing. We recommend keeping a copy of your original files.

Filzy's liability is limited to the amount of any fees paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.

8. Personal data

The collection and processing of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

Filzy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. The last update date is shown at the top of the document.

Continued use of the Service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have an account, you can request its deletion by contacting us.

Filzy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service in case of violation of these Terms, without notice or compensation.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the competent courts shall be those of Filzy's registered office.

In accordance with the Consumer Code, you may use the consumer mediation service free of charge. The mediator can be contacted online at economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso.
